An Eagle Court of Honor was held for five Eagle Scouts of Troop 613 at the end of May.

It was well attended by many of the Scout’s friends and family and local Dignitaries; Henderson county Sheriff Rick Davis was a guest speaker. ( He is also the BSA District Chair for Terrora Dist ). CSM (ret) David Baillie, Dept. of North Carolina Scout Committee Vice Chair, presented American Legion ‘Good Citizenship Certificates’ to all the new Eagle Scouts. A reception followed with a BBQ at the Henderson Historical site were several of the Eagle did their service projects. It was a once-in-a-lifetime time event!
